Construction 101: Introduction to the Built Environment

A 3-week summer construction and workforce readiness program for students ages 16-20. Daily classroom instruction and hands-on learning Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch provided. Students earn an OSHA-10 Construction Certification Card, a 20-Hour Certificate of Completion toward the Massachusetts Plumbing & Fuel Gas Tier One Program, and a Certificate of Learning Achievement (CLA) issued by NECEC. Each student receives a starter safety package: hard hat, safety glasses, work gloves, tape measure, and NECEC program shirt. Held at the NECEC training facility in Lowell, Massachusetts.
