Construction Workforce Readiness Program

NECEC Construction Workforce Readiness Program From Classroom to Career The NECEC Construction Workforce Readiness Program is our flagship, 150-hour career-development program created to prepare individuals for meaningful entry-level employment and long-term advancement in the construction industry. Through a combination of hands-on learning, classroom instruction, workplace safety, construction fundamentals, and code-based education, students develop the practical skills, confidence, and professional habits employers expect from tomorrow’s workforce. Program Highlights • 150 hours of comprehensive instruction • Hands-on construction and trade-based learning • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety and Health training • 20 instructional hours applicable toward Tier One of the Massachusetts Plumbing and Fuel Gas Fitting education program • Construction tools, materials, terminology, and jobsite practices • Blueprint reading, measurements, and essential construction math • Building-code awareness and the importance of code-compliant work • Workplace communication, teamwork, accountability, and problem-solving • Career preparation, résumé development, and interview readiness • Exposure to career pathways throughout the built environment Built for Career Readiness This program is designed for individuals seeking more than a basic introduction to construction. Students learn how professional jobsites operate, how trades work together, and why safety, workmanship, reliability, and code compliance are essential to a successful career. Graduates leave with a stronger foundation for pursuing employment, apprenticeship opportunities, advanced trade education, and continued professional development within the construction industry. Tuition and Interest-Free Payment Plan The total program investment is $6,495. A nonrefundable registration and enrollment deposit of $2,995 is required to reserve a student’s place in the program. The remaining balance may be paid through six interest-free monthly payments of $583.33. Space is limited to maintain a focused, hands-on learning environment. Learn the skills.
